How to send money to someone at Elmwood

I mentioned this before but if someone knew of their impending incarceration, they would be able to apply the money on them at the time of boking towards their commissary account. You can send money to an inmate in the California jail system several ways.

  1. Online (5$ processing fee takes debit and credit card)
  2. Send money orders or cashiers checks ( takes time to send and clear)
  3. The lobby kiosk at Elmwood ( convient if you are there and takes cash as well as credit)

Things they can buy or access to the commissary store is restricted at Elmwood by what group you are in. You can also buy your loved ones a care package online that will be sent to them on their designated day.

Below is info taken from Santa Clara DOC
